First Baptist Children’s Ministry is committed to the health, safety and security of the children in our school. We are proud of our Superior Sanitation rating with no demerits.

Safety and Security

• Our facility includes a secured coded entry.
• Our teachers are given extensive state mandated background checks.
• Every classroom has security cameras for office staff to monitor.
• Our directors easily observe classroom activities throughout the day.
• Our center administrators maintain updated files on authorized contacts in case of an illness or unforeseen emergency.

Health

• Disinfecting classrooms, equipment and toys is implemented throughout each day.
• We teach children to practice the importance of proper hand washing and our teachers model this behavior by washing their hands throughout each day.
• All meals are USDA balanced and are prepared in a commercial grade kitchen away from the classrooms.
• Gloves are worn for diaper changing and potty training to prevent contamination.
• Food service gloves, hair nets, and foot coverings are worn to protect our children from germs and communicable diseases.
• All health records, immunization records and emergency contacts are kept up to date and confidential.
• Our staff is trained in infant, child and adult CPR, first aid and SIDS.
